Wow? This CD left me nearly speechless. I can't properly define 'em stylistically even now, after giving "Thieves?" 10th or 11th listen, you see. Most probably, this CD is the most controversial and enrapturing piece Italy's Beyond? Productions managed to unleashed thus far. Space-metal? Perhaps. It doesn't have anything in common with BENIGHTED LEAMS or THE KOVENANT, though. Based on depraved yet so charming rhythmical structures, masterly crafted and executed, supplemented with two female singers (as well as sometimes harshly whispering, and sometimes bewitchingly screaming voice (as well as recitatives)), and nearly (?) unique synth lines, Mr. Buchman contrives to come up with a kind of recording which doesn't follow any limitations, cliches, a kind of recording which is far from being creatively imprisoned within any schemes or borders, a kind of recording which is definitely incomparable to anything and anyone else. This is a pure artistic masterpiece. (Herr Stalhammar)
